1978-present Director, Payne Associates, library, archive, and photograph appraiser and consultant.

 

1988-1993 Occasional Lecturer, Graduate School of Library and Information Science, The University of Texas at Austin. Graduate course in rare books and literary manuscripts.

 

1969-1985 The Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, The University of Texas at Austin. 


Throughout my employment at The Ransom Center I was involved with library administration, acquisitions, and collections development. Positions included Acting Director, Assistant to the Director, Associate Librarian for Acquisitions, Associate Librarian for Operations, and Research Associate.
